Drew Munro has been appointed General Manager of the Bourbon US Category Business Team (CBT). Additionally, JAY MATHEW has been hired as General Manager of the Classics US CBT. Beam Global’s commercial marketing function in the US has three CBTs: Bourbon (including Jim Beam and Maker’s Mark); Classics (including Courvoisier and Laphroaig) and Mixables (including Sauza and Cruzan). The general managers for each of the units are responsible for a cross-functional team whose focus is the growth of the brands. Munro is a veteran Beam Global employee, having worked for the company for the last 14 years. He oversaw the launch of Beam Global Canada as Managing Director and has extensive knowledge of the business from his work in various marketing and commercial positions in 3O different countries on behalf of Beam Global. Mathew joins the company from Unilever where he held various senior sales, strategy, shopper marketing, and brand marketing roles with increasing responsibility.
