BEER YOU CAN TAKE A BITE OUT OF

 When it comes to frying foods, the possibilities are endless, from fried dough to fried bologna, even fried ice cream. But fried beer really takes the cake (or should that be “keg”?). On display at this year’s State Fair of Texas were ravioli-like pockets of fried dough with beer inside. As creator Mark Zable said to the dallas morning news: “Why drink your beer when you can eat it?” Very Homer Simpson thinking indeed. And although the beer spills out as soon as you bite into it, you can always soak it up with the fried dough. As Homer would say: “Fried beer . . . aghhhhh.”
