SAM ADAMS SUMMER ALE and LATITUDE 48
Brewed with wheat malt, lemon zest and Grains of Paradise (a West African spice), the Sam Adams Summer Ale has a crisp, spicy flavor and body, followed with a citrusy finish. The Latitude 48 is an IPA style, brewed with a blend of hops from top German, English and American growing regions, all located near the 48th latitude along the “hop belt” of the Northern Hemisphere. This combination of hops creates a distinctive, yet not overpowering, hop character. The Latitude 48 is dry hopped with Ahtanum, Simco and East Kent Golding hops for a powerful citrus and earthy aroma, while balanced by a slight sweetness and full body from the honey malt blend. It will be included in the Samuel Adams Summer Styles variety pack which retails for $13.99 to $15.99 per 12-pack. Retail for the Sam Summer is $7.99 per 6-pack. Both beers are available through August from Atlas Distributing, Burke Distributing, Commercial Distributing, L. Knife & Son, and Merrimack Valley Distributing.
