A wide variety of producers are included, from large, well-known brands to tiny, up and coming estates, and the tasting notes cover everything from value-oriented, non-vintage bruts up to the most expensive luxury cuvees. ChampagneGuide.net is written and published by Peter Liem, who makes his home next to the Champenois vineyards in the small, wine-producing village of Dizy, near Epernay. In addition to publishing this guide, Liem is a senior correspondent and wine critic for wine & spirits. Access to the website is by subscription, currently $89 a year, or roughly the price of a single bottle of vintage champagne.
