VEUVE CLICQUOT Opens La Grande Dame Bar in Boston
Champagne house Veuve Clicquot has launched its first ever branded bar in the US inside the historic Liberty Hotel, former site of the Charles Street jail in Boston. Nestled in an alcove inside the first floor rotunda, the silhouette of the La Grande Dame’s onyx bottle serves as a décor centerpiece, while the mandarin yellow counter is flanked on both sides by crystal spires. A seating area of round chairs and modern couches beneath sconce lighting further enhances the sensuous ambiance. Patrons can enjoy flutes and bottles of La Grande Dame as well as full selection of current and past La Grande Dame Vintage and Vintage Rosé. The Liberty Hotel, with its rich history and perfect location in the heart of Beacon Hill, provides an ideal partner for us in this project,” explained Samantha Barnes, US Director of Business Operations at Veuve Clicquot. The La Grande Dame bar joins two other Veuve Clicquot bars which have recently opened in Hamburg, Germany, and Macao, China.
