U.S. DRINKS CONFERENCE

Massachusetts Beverage Business contributor Gregg Glaser moderated the beer panel at the US Drinks Conference held in New York City on October 13.  Members of the panel included Derek Stone, Commercial Director of Boston Beer Company, Curt Cameron, President of Thomas Hooker Brewing and Chris Steffanci, Heineken USA Senior VP of Sales.  The panel’s topic was Strategies for Building Beer Brands and Competing with the Majors.  The US Drinks Conference debuted in New York City this year after two years in London.  It’s designed as a symposium to provide an in-depth look at the current state of the US beverage alcohol market, what brand initiatives are working and new marketing tools that are being used.  Panelists included beer, wine and spirit suppliers, distributors, on- and off-premise retailers and other industry experts.  For more information visit www.usdrinksconference.com.
