These black and white sambucas are once again available in the US. The Nera is made by distilling sugar beets with alpine water to create a clean neutral spirit. It is then distilled with Italian Green Anise, Star Anise from China, Sicilian lemon peels, Italian Coriander, and northern Italian elderflowers.
